APPLE IPad 2: THE EXCLUSIVE ONE

2011 is predicated to be the “Year of Tablet” and we can see more than 50 tablet computers launching as the year progresses. There are already a few tablets which have been created some buzz like BlackBerry Play Book, Motorola XOOM and Nokia Ink’s Adam. Apple is managed to remain at the top of tablet market by selling more than 15 million iPad in 2010.   Apple iPad 2 is the next generation of Apple iPad and it supports a Mini Display Port. It is a good looking device and does not need a drastic aesthetic overhaul. It is the best served by a series of small tweaks. Apple iPad has an Apple A5 Processor and resembles the iPad Touch 4G. There is a rumored that Apple is experimenting with using carbon fiber and utilizing thinner glass to reducing the mass of iPad.

Rumors have claimed that Apple iPad 2 may be released at the Apple event on 9th of February. It features a resolution of 2048 by 1536 which is quadruple of the total pixels of the iPad. Touch screen of Apple iPad 2 has 9.7 inch display which is a pixel ratio of 1024 by 768. It is thinner and lighter than the previous Apple iPad. The size of iPad makes it more vulnerable to impact and cracking. A flat back is better for storage and ergonomics. It also supports Face Time Camera and 3-axis gyroscope. The possibility of retina display and SD card slot is still unclear. New iPad 2 is expected to have a faster processor and with more RAM. The mention of USB port is very interesting. It is also suggested that Apple will feature its Face Time technology in the iPad 2.

It is also expected to have improved graphics capabilities with a fast dual core SG*543 graphics processing unit. This architecture can support up to the 16 cores and the chip can push 35 million polygons per second at 200 MHz and 1 billion pixels per second. Apple iPad 2 is also capable of handling Apple’s Open CL standard. The iPad 2 offers a sufficient amount of space at 64 GB and 34 GB. There are lots of apps and games getting larger and elaborate. The additional feature is Air Play via iOS 4.2 and it encourages the user to lead more movies and music on to their iPad. With a faster processor, apps would load faster and be capable of more elaborate tasks. Battery of iPad 2 is good and even text looks fantastic.
